Оптимизъм за подписването на споразумението за третата спасителна програма за Гърция изрази премиерът на страната Алексис Ципрас по време на среща в Министерството на транспорта и инфраструктурата на Гърция.

Гръцките медии обаче съобщават, че в последните часове Ципрас отново е получил удар от редиците на Сириза - председателят на гръцкия парламент Зои Константопулу е насрочила извънредното заседание на парламента, на което да се разгледа споразумението, за последния възможен момент в четвъртък вечерта.
Атина има да покрива задължения от малко над 3 млрд. евро към Европейската централна банка (ЕЦБ) на 20 август. Надеждите на правителството са дотогава програмата да бъде одобрена и първите средства по нея – получени.
В същото време обаче Германия се опитва да отложи приемането на спасителната програма и по-точно изплащането на първия транш по нея, а в замяна на това предлага нов мостови заем за Атина, нещо срещу което гръцките власти се противопоставят остро.
По време на срещата си в Министерството на транспорта гръцкият премиер е допълнил още, че „този, който желае да пренареди еврозоната, няма да успее“, а европейските слабости няма да останат скрити.
Според Алексис Ципрас през последните пет години корупцията се разраснала сериозно в Гърция, сочейки за пример даването на магистрали на концесия, и допълвайки, че не са изпълнявани проекти в полза на гръцкия народ, а за лични интереси. Именно това е довело до задълбочаване на кризата, отчита премиерът, цитиран от Protothema.
Той посочва също и че е подготвен законопроект, който да подобри прозрачността при провеждането на обществени поръчки в областта на строителството.
