Спадът на глобалната промишленост – основната причина за поевтиняването на металите

В основата на пропадането на световния пазар на скъпоценни и неблагородни метали се крие глобалният спад на промишлената активност, посочва експерт.

"Мисля, че това, което имаме в момента, е световна индустриална рецесия", коментира пред CNBC Колин Хамилтън, ръководител на звеното за изследване на стоковите пазари в австралийската инвестиционна банка Macquarie.

Въпреки че някои анализатори отдават спада на цените на забавянето на икономическия растеж в Китай, Хамилтън изтъква, че "вина" за това имат и САЩ.

"Имаме ситуация, в която икономиката на Китай се забавя агресивно и не е в състояние да се съвземе, а САЩ губят конкурентоспособност с оглед на толкова силния долар", казва той. "Ето защо, въпреки че имаме много евтини пари и генерираме огромен обем от доставки, това не води до генериране на търсене".

Според Кристиан Келър, ръководител на икономическите анализи в Barclays, влиянието на забавянето на Китай върху цените на промишлените метали "вероятно не може да се подценява".

По думите му Поднебесната империя е отговорна за 40-50% от търсенето на метали, като мед, стомана и желязна руда. Делът е нараснал с 4 на сто от началото на новия век, като възходящото движение е дошло от бум при недвижимите имоти, който обаче вече приключва.

"Този пазар вече е в продължителен спад. Не може да се срине, но просто вече не е същият", казва Келър.

Тримесечните фючърси върху медта се търгуваха със спад от половин процент на Лондонската метална борса във вторник. Червеният метал е надолу с около 17 на сто от началото на годината, приближавайки най-ниската си стойност за последното десетилетие.

По думите на Хамилтън въпреки че неблагородните метали, като медта и алуминият, се борят със свръхпредлагането на пазара, спад на търсенето се наблюдава и при златото.

Цената на актива спада ъс 7,5% от началото на годината и е най-ниската от началото на 2010 г.
