Това без съмнение ще има политически последици за самата Франция и за мюсюлманското население в нея. И въпреки всичко съм убеден, че дори Шенген да се разклати, това няма да значи краят на ЕС. Тези актове едва ли ще уплашат европейците. По-скоро ще засилят чувството им, че заедно са по-силни. Няма държава в ЕС, която в момента би отказала помощ на Франция, независимо от какво естество.
Вероятно сега няма да е достатъчно в неделя хиляди да се съберат отново на Площада на Републиката и да скандират "Nous sommes Bataclan". Сега става дума за нас, за нашата свобода и за начина, по който живеем. За нашите ценности. За основните права на всеки европеец. И очевидно за тях ще трябва да се води борба.
